This bandage is made of 100% bleached cotton fibers by standard methods , with thread type 30 or 20 with number of threads 17 or 20 per square centimeter . These are folded into 8 or 16 layers and does not have any free thread heads on the margins , its used for direct wound dressings absorbing blood , wound secretions and absorption of wound disinfectant solutions during surgeries . Available in tow types , simple and barium . Sterilized with ethylene oxide system.
